What Is Crowd Control?

Crowd control (CC) covers any ability that stops enemies from moving or makes them easier to hit. A CC hero isn't usually trying to deal the most damage themselves — their job is to set up a kill for a teammate.

Also worth pairing, if less strictly CC-dependent: Rocket Raccoon's damage boost makes Punisher/Star-Lord/Hela ultimates hit even harder; Cloak & Dagger's and Invisible Woman's protection ults keep Scarlet Witch or Iron Man alive long enough to channel theirs. Luna Snow, Loki, and Mantis are flexible enough to chain with almost anything, which is exactly why they're left out of the structured database below — "combos with everyone" isn't a useful flag on a team slot.

The strongest general formula: Crowd Control → Damage Ultimate → Support Ultimate if needed. That sequence gives your team the best chance of landing every hit and winning the fight outright.

04 — Execution

Good Rules To Follow

Don't stack two crowd-control ultimates at the exact same time unless it's needed — use one to set up the other.
Let support heroes (Luna Snow, Mantis, Rocket Raccoon, Invisible Woman) pop their ultimates before your damage ultimates when possible.
Call your combo 2–3 seconds in advance — "Mag pull… 3, 2, 1… Iron now!"
Two coordinated ultimates usually win a team fight — there's often no need to commit four or five unless it's the final objective.
